Summer Camp

Camp Buck Toms will be transitioned to Camp Buck Toms – the Virtual Experience.  No physical camp will take place on the property.

We encourage your troop to still spend a week at Camp Buck Toms this summer through the Virtual Experience.  Our Scouts need normalcy and the impact of quality adults in their lives.

Each week will run Sunday afternoon – Thursday evening and will include opening & closing campfires, Scout’s Own service, morning flag ceremonies with inter-camp communications (sometimes but not often called….announcements).

There will be classes during the day with Scout skills and merit badges.  Class sizes will be limited to keep interactive learning personal – no cattle calls – and the highest security will be used with all youth protection measures in place.  Each Scout can register for up to five program periods of one hour each what will run Monday – Thursday.  Scouts will be able to choose from over 25 programs.  Class supplies and CBT memorabilia will be shipped to each Scout.  There will also be an online trading post.

Each Scout will receive a “Summer Camp in a Box” with their 2020 CBT patch, items specific to the classes for which they are registered in, and some additional items and goodies.

Camp Activities

Traditional Camp Buck Toms offers over 50 merit badges and other special programs.
We are working to get a list of classes we will be offering for Camp Buck Toms, The Virtual Experience.
